September Recap

EM Photography

Another month has come and gone. I can’t believe it’s already October. It seems like summer was just getting started. In a way I’m sorry to see summer go, but I’m actually looking forward to having a fire in the fireplace and making more time to do things inside instead of working on the yard. Ready to see how I did on September’s goals?

September Recap

Home Life:

·        Refinish mirror to go above the entry way dresser SUCCESS I’m counting this as a success as I’m waiting for the paint to dry as I type this. I can’t wait to get it hung up. It’s going to fill in the space nicely.

·        Organize our bedroom closet FAIL Yep…still can’t find a darn thing. It will get done soon.

·        Update Children/Portraits and Family pages on the blog home page SUCCESS/FAIL I got the Children/Portraits updated, but didn’t get Family done. I did, however, make a new page where people can see what nature photos I have for sale.

·        Organize all craft sale supplies in one area SUCCESS I have everything organized and put in a handy tackle box type carrier and will be getting a Thirty-One Essential Storage Tote to put it all in.

·        Walk every day FAIL

·        Read every night FAIL

October Goals

I’ve decided to take a break from giving myself goals for the next few months. I actually accomplished more things that weren’t on my goal list than were on it. I feel that I’d rather see what each day brings and work on making our house a home. It will be more fun to update you on projects I’m completing, recipes I’m trying and other things like that than making goals I may not complete. With that said, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend 🙂
Much love,
