Calmbox Review

The Calmbox

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I love my PopSugar subscription box. I was beyond excited when I saw a contest come across my Instagram feed to be one of the first 10 people to receive the first ever Calmbox. I entered almost every way possible in hopes to be one of those lucky 10.

The Calmbox says it is “A monthly box inspiring positivity, peace, and calm in everyday life.” You can’t tell me you’re not interested in something that could bring more calm in to your life.

I never win anything so you can understand how completely and unbelievably excited I was to be one of the 10 chosen.

My Calmbox arrived within a few days and I couldn’t wait to open it and see what was inside! Ready to check it out??

The Calmbox

First off, the packaging is Eco-friendly which is always a plus in my book. It included a nice letter telling you about everything that was included in the box and what the theme was for this month. July’s theme happens to be mindfulness.

Notebook/Pencil:

The Calmbox

The notebook and pencil were included as a tool to help you slow down and take notice of the things around you and to clear your mind. To write down your thoughts or observations. It’s so important to really take time to let your mind relax.

The Calmbox

Candle:

I love candles in any shape and size so this was a nice addition. I light this candle before I open up my computer to do photo shoot editing. It calms me and adds a little ambiance.

Zen and the Art of Happiness:

I can’t resist a book in a subscription box, let alone one about Zen. Lord knows I need more of it in my life. I look forward to reading this. It’s the perfect size to carry in your purse as well.

The Calmbox

Gemstones:

I was ECSTATIC when I saw gemstones. I’ve only recently started getting in to gemstones/crystals and their uses. I only know what two of them are for sure so a card explaining which each of them are and their uses would be great 🙂

The Calmbox

Yogi Calming Tea:

Love this brand of tea so this was a great addition to the box. Had a cup of it before bed the night I received it.

The Calmbox

Necklace:

My first thoughts about this necklace were that I loved the design, but then I tried to put it on and I just can’t get it to stay securely on. I’m going to modify the end so I can put a clasp on it to fix the problem. Other than that it’s a very pretty piece which I fully intend to wear 🙂

The Calmbox

Small Cards:

Love these little daily reminder cards; I keep two of them at work and have two at home. They are perfect to take out when I’m feeling stressed and immediately have brought me back to a calm state of mind.

All-in-all, I LOVED this box and am excited to see what next month brings. Go to http://www.thecalmbox.com to get July’s before the deadline!!!

What do you think of this new subscription box? I’d love to hear your thoughts down in the comments section.

Much love,

Liz
