Ramblings

I was sitting here today, realizing how much I miss crafting, baking, cooking, photography and just sharing every day things with you. I promise the day I will be able to start doing that again will be here soon. It feels like it won’t. . . but I promise you that it will. I’ve been taking some time to really step back and just live instead running around like crazy to put posts together or meet some crazy expectation that I have imposed on myself. I’m going to have a new system that I think is going to work better for me and still provide you, my readers, with more of the things I want to share.

This past weekend I went back to my dad’s house for the Easter holiday and it was just what I needed. No plans, no commitments. . . nothing. Well, Easter dinner, but that doesn’t really count lol. I had ideas of things I wanted to do but no real set plans. We went shopping at St. Vincent, walked around my grandparents’ property, walked around my dad’s land, took a drive to the rapids, dug some bulbs and just relaxed. It was the perfect weekend.

I wanted to share some photos I took while we were there. It was the first time I had taken out my good camera since last year. It made me sad when I realized that. Lots of these were taken with my phone which is becoming more my main camera than I’d like. I’m going to try to find a Photo-of-the-Day contest to take part in to get back in to the swing of things before I start booking photo shoots 🙂

I’m not sure when I’ll get the Panama Canal pictures posted. I have so many other things I want to share with you! Don’t worry though, it’s still on my list.

Hope you have a great day 🙂

Much love,
