Soaring Eagles

On my way to work the other morning, a beautiful eagle flew over the road. There is something so magical about eagles. They are so powerful, yet their beauty is mesmerizing. Last year around this time we had a family of eagles that were nesting near my work. I may or may not have RUN to the doors each time I saw them take flight. Even thought I could hardly feel my fingers once I was back inside, it was worth every second. I took a look back at all the images I captured and wanted to share some of my favorites with you. These were taken over a few different days.

I’m hoping I’ll get another chance to photograph some again this year. I hope it warms up a bit first, though! With temperatures sitting at -2 and wind chills at -20, I’m not in a hurry to repeat last years painful shoot. Yes, if they come around I WILL run out in the middle of whatever I’m doing to get another chance at a beautiful photo 🙂

Hope you enjoyed a different side to my photography. I look forward to sharing more of my nature inspired photos with you 🙂

Until next time.

Much love,

Liz

    • Thanks Karen!!! I’m still in awe of them every time I look at them. I actually have one of them with the blue sky on a large canvas and some notecards 🙂 I’m hoping they come back around so I can take some more. I think I stared up in the sky for minutes on end just watching them lol.

    • Awww thanks! I was just thinking how bare my site has been of my actual nature photography so I thought this was the perfect time to show some of it. I’m glad you liked them! Yes…this cold weather is for the birds lol.
