Recipe ~ Ham Roll-ups

This may seem like an odd recipe to post, as most people think ham roll-ups are easy to make. I’ve actually had quite a few people comment on the way I make them and how good they taste, so I thought I better share my secret.


Whipped Cream Cheese

Dill Pickle Spears

Honey Ham

1. Remove the ham slices and place them on a paper plate. Pat each piece dry with paper toweling.

2. This is the secret part;Β fillet each spear. Yes, just like a fish. The “guts” of the pickle make the roll-up soggy if you don’t remove them. I then slice the spear in half.

3. Lay out a piece of ham out on a cutting board and spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the whole piece.

4. PlaceΒ a pickle at the end of the ham.

5. Roll up the pickle and cut in to four pieces. I generally cut the ends off because I don’t think they look pretty on the plate.

6. Arrange on a serving platter.
